Our Story
We started on a kitchen counter in Millsboro, Delaware on October 1, 2003. The name came from our own dogs, who would bang their tails against the kitchen island whenever they smelled something baking.
That is still the idea. Dogs are family, and a treat should be worth wagging about, on birthdays, holidays, and ordinary Tuesdays.
From a Garage to One of the Largest Dog Bakeries in the Country
Lisa St. Clair started Tail Bangers as a one-person operation in a garage. It is now a women-owned, SQF-certified manufacturer supplying grocery, pet, and specialty retailers nationwide, and still baking in Millsboro, Delaware.
